ParkCity Everly Hotel Miri (PCEHM) is making a comeback on its array of gastronomic delights after a long absence in the market. Their wide range of weekend buffet dinner dishes are located at Melinau Restaurant and open to public on every Saturday (should there is any festive celebration falls on that Saturday, there will be no weekend buffet dinner). The weekend buffet dinner has been launched since early July and it will last until end of the year. The offered dishes will be rotate on weekly basis and retain the popular dishes based on the guest feedback. So, do leave your feedback on their dishes.

Here are my top 3 reasons why you should consider the hotel’s weekend buffet dinner.

1) VARIETY SELECTION OF CUISINES
With the hotel’s new multi-station live cooking and with multiple choice of courses from Western, Thai, Nyonya, Malaysian and many more in between, Chef Omar and his team were given the freedom to style their food to suit your taste as you can prepared your own personalized salad, mix or match with chefs prepared selection.

The weekend buffet dinner also offered its live cooking station on baked fresh whole New Zealand Salmon, Yakiyori to Lok Lok and their signature claypot dishes. Thai and Indian specialties with curry, roti prata as well as traditional Malaysian dishes. You practically get yourself indulged with global cuisine at one stop centre : Melinau Restaurant.

mutton curry (left), chicken basil (right) – i love the chicken basil!

A rich and tempting selection of desserts both chilled and hot from Profiteroles to bread puddings, to cakes galore, you just have to save the best for last. My personal favorite was the chocolate bread pudding. Warm, creamy, chocolaty rich. Simply delish!

my favorite dessert. chunky bread pieces covered with warm rich chocolaty flavor with a balance of sweetness. delish!

For the record, the food and drinks are not only made available inside Melinau Restaurant but also outside the restaurant itself. The restaurant have live cooking stations located indoor and outdoor. Rest assure that all food and drinks are strictly prepared under the requirement of JAKIM in line with their ‘HALAL’ certification.

2) AFFORDABLE PRICE
The weekend buffet dinner is priced at RM53nett per person while children (4-12 years old) enjoy a 50% discount. Great food, great value!

IMO, the price is reasonable and for the hotel’s in-house guest, they are entitled to a 30% discount. Super great deal, right?!

BONUS FUN FACTS
In Miri, ParkCity Everly Hotel has established a reputation official accommodation for few international events such as Borneo Jazz Festival, Miri Country Music Festival and Sarawak International Trialthon (just to name a few).

Coming soon, the hotel will be the official venue for Kumarsutra Nationwide Tour 2017 in month of September and the inaugural Rocktoberfest Borneo in the month of October.

Have you got your ticket yet? You’ll regret it for life if you haven’t.

Come on, Kumar the Diva is coming to town, people!

And and the first rock festival is coming to town too!
For the first freaking time, with lotsa of rock band from all over Malaysia and Brunei. Never have I got to see an event organizer showcase a bunch full of rock bands. This gonna be epic and insane! (if they pull it off smoothly lah).

OK, enough of my ramblings on the fun facts.
