Capacity Building Program for Graduate (CBG)

Two years back, I wrote about ‘Graduate Training Program’.

I received quite number of feedback and I’m happy that I’ve assisted one way or another. Seeking an employment is not as easy as some may think it is. With certain level of expectation that is put in place, it requires certain level of expertise or skills too and not many have that hence there are still many unemployed graduates out there.

Along the years, I get to know about another program that is offer to unemployed graduates out there. This platform is initiated by the Sarawak government through the Chief Minister’s office hence Capacity Building Program for Graduate (CBG) was introduced. The objective was not only to build capacity of the participants through trainings but also to prepare them with the necessary knowledge and skills to increase their employability and marketability in the job market. It is also seen as part of the effort to meet the demand for skilled workers in Sarawak Corridor for Renewable Energy (SCORE).

The CBG program was initially ends in year 2011, however it has been extended to June, 2013. So, it is indeed very good news to unemployed Sarawakian graduates out there. 😉

If you are a diploma or a degree graduate, who are still on job hunting and wish to apply for the mentioned program, click here to find out more.
