Due to the nature of the research project that I’m currently involved with, it requires the team to travel to the remote areas in the Borneo forest. To reach to these places, we’ve gone through few mode of transportation.

We travel by air.
twin otter plane is used for rural area air service and its like riding a roller coaster during bad weather

 We travel by river.
still manage to pose for the camera

going through a small rapid

We travel by land too via 4WD vehicle.
i actually sit at the back just to experience the roller coaster ride

But never do we expect to meet an ex-LUGOSS deep inside the forest. As a matter of fact, we found out that all of us were ex-LUGOSS student. ;p

i was surprised to see a penan lady wearing our ex-school sport shirt for co-curriculum activities

Any of ex-LUGOSS or current LUGOSS reading this post now? Do say ‘hi’ under the comment column.  😉

ps-LUGOSS stand for Lutong Government Secondary School (back in the 70s) and now it’s known as SMK Lutong. 🙂
