Far Away Island

I am sitting here, expressing what’s inside my mind. Looking back at the things that had happened to me for the last few years and what will I be or where will I be in the next few years to come are pretty scary for me.

Imagining myself standing on top of Canada Hill alone, looking at Miri city from a distance, wondering why I am still here, and feeling lost.

For now, I have so many things in mind and wasn’t sure whether I’m making the right decision.

It is said that people comes into your life for a reason, for a season and for a lifetime. And I can’t figure out which one exactly it is for now.

    Hi Ladybird,
You should always learn, with life comes wisdom and with wisdom comes the courage to live your life selflessly.
The more you learn about yourself and the experiences surrounding your life the more opportunities you have to make your life better and more fulfilling.

Learn as if you were going to live forever. Live as if you were going to die tomorrow.

Many of life’s circumstances are created by three basic choices:
    the disciplines you choose to keep, the people you choose to be with;
and, the laws you choose to obey.

You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough. Your life today is not a dress rehearsal.

There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Life is like an onion. You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you cry.

And Ladybird, I want you to say this to yourself,
” I love my past, I love my present. I am not ashamed of what I’ve had and I’m not sad because I have it no longer”.

And Ladybird, if you want the rainbow, you got to put up with the rain.

This past four days I myself have begun to look at things differently….as only 4 days ago, I received a phone call from Malaysia, a friend of mine, he is 60, got involved with a car accident. He somehow lost control of his car enroute to catch a plane to go for holidays overseas with his wife.

He is still in ICU at the hospital, unconscious, but regretfully, his lovely wife died instantly. She only 58…with everything to live for,…her life gone in a second.
She was buried day before. And he still semi conscious, but expected to recover next few days has not been informed of his wife’s death. And he, everyone knows adores his wife.

Thus Laydybird…I live for today, thankful for a roof over my head, and know hopefully, the sun will come up for me tomorrow…and tomorrow…and tomorrow…and the happy thought I have a lovely lady friend in Miri.
You stay easy and have a good weekend. By the way, you have a hill called, “Canada Hill” in Miri? Never read or heard that before. Lee.

Hi, Ladybird….my first time here from U.lee’s place. A happy belated birthday wish from me to you….

I sometimes like to dwell on my past and my present sufferings too. But as life is too short for that..as lee said.. we only live once so why not make our choices to be happy and live only for today. Here is another quote for you:
    ” Enjoy your life today
    because yesterday had gone
    and tomorrow may
    never come.”

    Cheers and stay happy.
