From KLIA to Sukoerna Hatta Jakarta

I left Miri to Indonesia with mixed feelings – gonna miss everybody here, being paranoid on Indonesians due lots of bad publicities on them, don’t know what to buy using Rupiah currency (I’m bad in Maths) oh goshhh…my list can go on and on… ;p

Surprisingly to see lot of passenger board the earliest MAS flight to KL. Hehehe…like myself, I had to force myself to wake up around 4am to catch up the 6:30am flight. As it was a 2 hours flight, breakfast was provided.

Malaysia common breakfast – Nasi Lemak with Sambal Prawn

Scramble Egg with Potato and Sausages

How does it taste? Well, I enjoyed the coffee than the food. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wish I can have this in my house ๐Ÿ˜‰

As my colleague and me had few hours to go before departed to Jakarta, we decided to explore the International section of KLIA. Upon my findings of the exploration, this is the place where you can see different nationalities as if you are lost at a place that you never been before yet you are in Malaysia hehehe….

Being bored, we travelled using the aerotrain that allows international passengers travel from a terminal to another terminal. It’s only a few minutes ride (i think it’s a 5 minutes ride) and I think we went for 5 times hehehehe…

From the main terminal building to another terminal

I ‘visited’ the liquor and tobacco duty free shop with my mouth wide open. Apart from seeing ‘brands’ that I never know before, the price of it was kind of shock to me. I end up buying me cigars. Another thing that I discovered, apart from producing your passport and boarding pass as ‘the licence’ to purchase those item, you’ll get to see your passport ‘swiped’ on the register machine just like how they normally swipe credit card. ;p

Didn’t realised time passed so fast that we have to board the plane to Jakarta. To my surprise, my flight (MH721) and Garuda passenger boarded MAS plane. In short, it’s a combined flight and congrats to Garuda passengers coz they are boarding and enjoying the world best flight service. On the other side of it, it shows either MAS or Garuda is not ‘doing well’ that caused them to combine and worst still I boarded a boeing 737 plane to Jakarta as I was expecting to board at least boeing 737 or an airbus.

Come to think of it, better fly with AirAsia next time – cheap rate, big plane. Yes, you heard me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It was a 2 hours flight from KL to Jakarta and there’s nothing better to do apart from reading, eat and sleep.

Fried rice with fish

Curry chicken rice with ladyfinger

Landed safely at Sukoerno Hatta Jakarta Airport and noticed my bag has been ‘raped’ by unknown pervert. I was pissed off at first but lastly, I managed to cool myself down as there’s nothing missing. Just wondering how the hell did they managed to configure the combination of the lock. ๐Ÿ™

We were greeted by our Agent representative and headed straight to my Agent office for briefing before headed to Bandung. Along the way to my Agent’s office, I was stunned to see the developments in Jakarta itself, the populations are so damn ‘huge’ and the best thing is, I get to experience the ‘macet of Jakarta’. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Its not combined flight but called code sharing practiced by many airlines. By code sharing both airline are on a win-win basis rather than flying a near empty plane. Well, knowledge is for sharing.

Wait till you see the huge “last erection” in Jakarta. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And don’t forget to see the interesting statues (“pizza man”, “brother & sister”, etc) along the highways in the city.
