Going Bald For A Good Cause
Do you know how it is for a woman to go bald is not something that every woman would opt for? Well, unless they are bald due to medication effect or gone berserk like Britney Spear. ;p
Whatever it is, I don’t think going bald is seen as taste of fashion or preferred hair style by most women out there. Same goes with me.
But this time round, I’ve decided to go bald in support of Go Bald campaign organized by Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) Centre. I’m doing this not for the publicity neither do for the sense of fashion. I’m doing this with a sincere heart in helping to spread the word to the universe and a gesture of showing my support and understanding of the child cancer patient ordeal by shaving my precious hair hence I’m pledging you to donate in my pledge card donation.
I can’t go bald if the amount of donation received by me is less than RM100. So, please be very very generous. Give more, expect less (better still don’t expect anything in return for GOD will do HIS wonder).
For the record, the collected donation will be used for a brand new Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) Centre buildings (one each at Kuching and Miri) with improved amenities, facilities, resources for cancer patients. The centre also provides relief and care to cancer child patient and their families apart from creating awareness on the sickness diagnose treatment, control and prevention. Your donation too will help the centre to further advance their research in childhood cancer.
This year, the Go Bald campaign has expanded its wing to Miri (previously, it was always held at Kuching). You can witness me (if I can collect more than RM100) and the others shaving our hairs in public at Bintang Megamall on the 1st of May 2011. The same event will be held at The Spring, Kuching on the 15th May 2011.
If you are keen to donate in my pledge card, kindly leave your details at my ‘Contact Me’ tab or you can also donate online at here. Kindly be informed, any donation from RM100 onward is entitle for tax exemption. The donation received is going directly to the Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) Centre fund.
Your donation can make a BIG DIFFERENCE. 🙂
