Have Faith In Yourself, You Can Do It
She was diagnosed with lung cancer, stage 4. Currently she’s undergoing her chemotheraphy session. She had lost her voice. And still struggling to face her faith.
Shocked. Un-believable. Un-expectable. Speechless.
I wasn’t seeing this coming when I was told about it. Flashback of memories on how my family and I gone through the news when my mom was diagnosed with cervix cancer, stage 3c started to pop up one by one in my head. Everyone were devasted especially my mom. But nevertheless, she didn’t give up easily and she move on with life. She takes it one at a time. On her own pace. She’s a fighter!!
That was 6 years ago.
The recent news I received on my dear friend was indeed a shocking one. I guess she wasn’t expected it either. She’s the happy-go-lucky, loud, bubbly type of person, a caring mother of 2 young sons (age 9 & 4), very active sportswoman (she’s my volleyball’s mate) and of course a loving wife.
It started with coughing, which she thought was a common cough until she coughed blood. The incident freaked her out thus encouraged her to go for further medical check-up which eventually leading to the recent shocking discovery. She was told that she had lung cancer although she is not a smoker neither does her husband.
However, speculation has spread around that it could be due to 5 years of exposing herself to a laserjet printer placed at her workstation. It was said laserjet printer does produce certain level of radiation. How true is the fact, I’m not sure.
Whatever it is, I just hope she would stay positive and have faith in herself that she can and will overcome whatever lay ahead of her.

Most of the time or everyday, we as human being expose to radiation. Hand phone, computer, television, sunlight and etc are all radiation. Yup “in a certain level of radiation”
By the I feel sympathy with your friend. Tell your friend just keep faith in God and stay positive.
