I’ll be away
Though a dear friend of mine is willing to ‘guard’ my house while I’m away, deep inside me still worries. I worry of my dear friend safety. I fear for her as she might get hurt should it happen again. Nevertheless, she managed to convince me and I finally have to comply with her decision. Still my dear friend, I fear the most for your safety and the only thing I can do is to pray for your safety.
For the very first time, I’ll be going to leave my footprint in Limbang and I am so excited about it. I heard so much about it and can’t wait to explore the small town – my way. *smiles* I’ll be staying at Purnama Hotel with my dear gay friend (my university competitor) and we can’t wait to work and play hard together. I’m sure we are going to have lots of fun. *giggled*
So, if you happen to be reading this now and is at Limbang on that day, I would be more than happy to meet up, close and personal with you. Errr…I won’t bite. ;p
I have to fly back to Miri the next day and get myself ready for the university annual dinner which will fall on this coming Saturday. This year, the annual dinner is going to be held at the Imperial Ballroom and plenty of interesting programs has been lined up. I can’t wait to enjoy the food that will be serve and the entertainment that will be presented to us. Though this year theme is ‘Going International’, I don’t feel like dressing accordingly to the theme.
Well, part of it is simply because I lost my mood on ‘dress to kill’ due to my recent incident. And colleagues has been questioning me up and down on what I’m going to wear on that day. I end up disappointing them on my so-called not so encouraging answers as during the previous years, I am well known for being supportive in dressing accordingly to the theme. This time, I intend to go ‘mix and match’ concept and the bottom line is comfortness throughout the dinner.
Unless I’m been paid to do so then I would dress up accordingly to the theme mmuehehe… ;p
Guess what?! The very next morning, I have to rush to the airport again and this time flying back to my hometown – Marudi. I am planning to have my favorite breakfast- Marudi Kuey Tiaw in Marudi as I’ll be departing Miri at 7.35am. I’m not sure whether I have any silent reader in Marudi or not but if there are any; I would love to meet up with you at Marudi Civic Centre. 😉 As much as I wanted to stay longer, due to the heavy peak recruitment for the university, I have to fly back again to Miri on the same day. Yes, I’m on a day trip again.
Anyway, I’m pretty excited about my upcoming trips and looking forward to experiencing it. I know its going to be a tiring travel arrangement but that is just part of the job challenges.
So, don’t miss me while I’m away… XOXO :))
