Yes, I’m traveling again and this time to my hometownMarudi. And this is just the ‘travel light version’. I will depart Miri tomorrow and I couldn’t wait to be home. I’m sure there is going to be plenty of stuff to blog about once I’m there. 😉

Looking back at my memory lane in Marudi, I treasured every moment of it in my diary books. The world of blogging back then wasn’t in my dictionary. Worst still, no computer is to be found in the house or at school.

There are many memories; most of ‘em are sweet. Those were the time where I get to meet and study together with some of my junior secondary school classmates and schoolmates as they came from feeder school. Some of them further their studies at bigger cities like Miri, Kuching and KL.

This is also the time where I learnt how to take short notes…the time where I hate my Maths teacher so much; hated him for being racism where he likes to differentiate Sarawakian and West Malaysians in the class…this is the time where I get myself involved in class debate competition, writing essay competitions, public speaking competitions (the list goes on)…this is the time where other students get to see my face receiving awards on the stage on every year end graduation…this is the time where I was actively involved in cultural performances either in or outside the school…

Bottom line, I was active academically but I was sucked in sports. I know I have disappointed my mother’s dream to see her children excel in sport as she was once upon a time a Marudian athletic. Heiii…I wasn’t too bad at all in sports though. I’m good at any sport especially basketball and badminton; just that I never win any trophies like her. ;p

As for now, I’m polishing my skills in playing pool huhuhu…

I miss my secondary school time so much…especially the memory of my ‘first love’. :))

I know what is in your mind right now…I sure do…so if you wanna know more, get me this remote first lalalala…

Care to blog your travel with photos. I need u to describe the travel from airport (taxi, car), onboard flight.. then Marudi Airport to town.. etc.

Act like you are an expat who just reach Miri.
