My Name is EYE-LEEN

Eileen is my name and I have no clue why does my parent named me by that name. Probably they liked it among all of the babies name that are made available in baby names book back then. At times, I hate growing up with that name. Simply because I am always called as ‘Ellen’, ‘Helen’, ‘Elaine’, ‘Irene’ and they even spell my name wrongly. It pisses me off, really.

Today, I liked my name. *smiling to the ear*

I find my name is unique and I also get to know that the name is an Irish name meaning ‘light’. No wonder I always find myself making people surrounding me happy yet I myself not happy (at times). Come to think of it, probably that’s the ‘curse’ for carrying such unique name. ;p Whatever it is, I liked my name and it is indeed a rare name nowadays. Just like the person who bear the name too. *perasan tahap Doraemon* ๐Ÿ˜‰

The next time you bumped into me, do pronounce my name correctly ya. Say it properly – ‘Eye-Leen’ or ‘I-Leen’. Get it?
