Nikko Japanese Restaurant

I’m not a fan of Japanese food but that doesn’t mean I don’t eat Japanese food. I just don’t favor it as much as how my friends does, so pardon me if I don’t mention some of the food name correctly.

The restaurant can be seen as an isolated place for newcomer to Miri (as it hardly be seen from the main road) however for Mirian, it is easily spotted  as it is located between Valencia Park or M-Citi Suite Apartment. Below is the full address of the place for your reference;

Nikko Japanese Restaurant,
Lot 2407, Block 4,
Piasau Business Park, Jalan Bulatan,
98000 Miri, Sarawak.

Telephone : 6 085 – 654288
Fax : 6 085 – 657228

It was my first time dining here so it kinda gave me a ‘sakura’ welcome (sakai bah!) especially upon greeted by the staff (terkezut pun ada masa ya). I can’t recall the phrase that they were saying while bowing at you but I assume it as a greeting of welcoming. 🙂

As all of the rooms are fully booked and required reservation in advance, we sat near it’s counter and served with hot green tea. I liked the green tea very much!

My colleagues knew that I don’t know how to appreciate raw food so they ordered me the Unagi Bento set.

While my colleagues ordered their favorites and I get to taste it too. ;p

Last but not least,

I’m not sure how much we spent (coz kamek makan free bah) but I bet the prices are reasonable (you have to pay for the cozy ambiance too, you know). I was told the restaurant offers more varieties of Japanese food as compared to other outlet in Miri too. Wait a minute!!! As of posting this post today, this is the one and only Japanese restaurant available in Miri (Sushi King outlet is not at the same par as restaurant outlet level so it is not counted, ok ;p).

So, any Japanese food lover out there? When was your last visit here?
