Parking Access Card

For the first time in my entire life residing in Miri, being a Mirian (although I’m not born here but I’ve stayed here for more than a decade so it’s a self pro-claimed statement being a Mirian, ok ;p), I finally get to see something new introduced by this particular shopping mall management – Bintang Mega Mall.

A proper freaking parking access card was introduced (although it’s not something new at other places in Malaysia but whadaheck it’s always better to have one than nothing, right?). 🙂

so next time, some of you can become a parking access card collector ;)

At least now, I don’t feel bad paying RM50 for any loss parking access card unlike other shopping mall where some uses cheap fax type of paper as its parking coupon. And one get to pay penalty of RM50 too if it’s lost.

So far, Bintang Mega Mall is the first shopping complex in Miri to use such parking access card for its customer to park their car within their compound. I liked the idea very much. 🙂 I feel the initiative is in line with the city status  (city status but still doing business the China man style of mentality including the local politicians) that  Miri had. I just hope other shopping mall are moving the same direction as what Bintang Mega Mall are doing too. 😉

Honestly On the hand, I don’t feel safe each time I went to Bintang Mega Mall due to the constructions that are still going on in the building. Many rumours hear-say goes around that the building is not safe, leaking here and there, cheap material are being used, haunted due to recent commit suicide incident from its car park area and manymore. But does the management care about all of this? Hell, noooo!!!

And you as a customer, do you really care about the rumours too? Bloody hell The answer is no too. Same goes with me. I would go to Bintang Mega Mall once a while to shop for something that other places doesn’t have offer or just to hang out with friends at Starbuck despite of the rumours. 😉

For the record, this post is made without any prejudice. 🙂

if that’s how you see it, yeah miri is a city. such a poor thing, right? unless you have different opinion about the city status then i would love to hear your ‘city status’ opinion. 🙂
