Remember the old days back in high school when we were in our exam year like sitting for SPM?
Looking back, I don’t think I’ve done much otherwise I would have an excellent result in my SPM, like 7As or 8As (my time don’t have more than 10 subject, ok). Really. *sigh*
Back then, apart from classroom learning, I remember I do lotsa revision and extra homework. The ICT technology was never in the picture. I can’t afford to attend tuition classes so practically I have work things out on my own. I remembered I bought ‘Dewan Masyarakat’ magazines (wonder the magazine is still on sale or not) to improve on my BM subject. I’ll do the exercises and submit it to my BM teacher for marking. The effort paid off, I score distinction in my BM subject. I do the same thing for the other subjects too.
Nowadays, apart from the conventional classroom learning embedded with the ICT technology, learning has become more fun (I think). To me, the internet made it so much easier where with a single click; you’ll get the required information within seconds.
I think to achieve a good result; it is up to the student attitude. Being lazy will bring you down but you will go up for being hardworking and smart. To student who will be sitting SPM this year, to get an excellent result, it all boils down to efforts. Without the drive to succeed, you’ll not be a successful person in the future.
All the best to those sitting for SPM this year and to those who have sat for your SPM, what was your grade like?. 🙂
p/s-my SPM result was Pangkat 1. 😉
