The Mini Biggest Loser
Last May, I get myself actively involved in the ‘Get Active’ campaign organised by the University Life section. I’ve attended the ‘Poco-poco’ & modern dance classes, aerobic class, table tennis and volleyball after office hours.
To my surprise, I lost 3kgs within that month itself. I was really pleased with my own achievement and having the compliments from my peer on this was so encouraging and motivating.
I feel good and look great too. ?
However when a challenge was thrown to me by my peers, I got nervous. The challenge for me was to become a trainer to my dear friend, Viv and I have to make sure that she will lose weight as much as 6kgs by the end of July.
Both of us had been actively involved in the last ‘Get Active’ campaign and this month we are still continuing doing it. I’ve listed down the sport activities that we had anticipated and below is the list;
Monday – Badminton
Tuesday – Table tennis, PowerWalk
Wednesday – Volleyball
Thursday – Table tennis, PowerWalk
Friday–Sunday – Rest day
Apart from doing the physical activities above, I have to monitor closely on the food intake as well. I have to ensure Viv is on sugarless drink and eat less carbohydrate solid food and more veggies and fruits.
The urge of losing some weight here is not temporary as it will stay for as long as Ior both of us to stay active. For good health reason sake. If Viv achieved the target, it is consider as a reward for me being her trainer. Viv’s goal apart from to stay healthy is to look drop dead hot lady especially when her brother wedding is coming soon. 🙂
Should I fail to achieve the target of losing 6kgs on Viv, I have to shave my hair – Mohawk style. And as for Viv, she has to shave her hair – bold. We sink, we swim together kind of thing.
I am so not going to have Mohawk hair style (I rather go bold) so I’m pushing myself to train Viv harder.
Unless…Viv is cheating behind my back then I’m safe. ;p
