The Search for 2009 RWMF Volunteer

Ever heard of the phrase that goes ‘sambil menyelam, kita minum air’ or in English, it is better known as ‘kill two birds with one stone’. That is exactly what I’ve been doing today – being multi-tasking (it feels so bloody good when you get to ‘angkat bakul’ sendiri). ;p

Despite of the ad-hoc tasks been thrown at me (not forgetting my procrastination on the agent commission claim thingy), attending product briefings and executing the routine tasks I do in the office, I still manage to spare few minutes to work on my rainforest world music festival volunteer list. 😉

I got to tell you that this time round, the response for my search of volunteer is great and better (coz this year I extend the search for volunteer to West Malaysia with the help of a blogger friend) than last year search.

Interested volunteer signed up from every ‘corner’ of life and it requires a thoroughly ‘scanning’. Last year, I have 4 Sabahan volunteer signed up for this event and now I received 13 volunteer signed up for this year event (yeah baby the number is growing!). A group of 20 Philippines’ team is coming back to join the volunteer team again and their visa paper works is in the progress. Not forgetting the Miri volunteer team is becoming bigger as well and we are reducing the number of volunteer from Kuching (mok merik chan orang miri bah).

Due to that, a meet up session aka preliminary round of selecting the volunteer into the final list will be held this coming Friday (17th Apr 09), 7pm at Bulatan Café for the Miri volunteer team.

Same goes to the West Malaysian volunteer team which will be advice on a later date.

As for the Sabah volunteer team, congrats coz you all are in the final list. Kalau ada rezeki lebih tu kan, datanglah ‘aramaiti’ di Miri bulan Mei ini bersempenaan dengan Miri International Jazz Festival.  🙂

Lastly but not least, I am no longer recruiting anymore female volunteer (as it hit the quota) but the search for male volunteer is still on so if you are interested (bukan alang-alang punya interested ok, yang macam ini kena reject terus) kindly email me at ‘ladybirdakamolly@gmail.com’.

If you wish to feed yourself with more information on the search, feel free to experience my first search for volunteer here and here.

To spark more excitement to your curiosity on the event itself, feel free to explore my discoveries here, here, here, here, here, and here. 🙂

your level of interest is really high, medium or low? coz if its high, push aside that unpaid leave coz you’re gonna be paid as a volunteer. 🙂
