The Seed

As much as I am pissed with my office surrounding, I’m trying my very best to perform my duty the best I can though deep down inside, I’m badly de-motivated. My morale is like buried 50 feet underground now.
The other side of me keeps on reminding me that life is precious, every minute and every moment. Live life to the fullest for today, as yesterday was history and tomorrow is a mystery.
With the pouring advices and moral support coming in, I come to think and begin to ponder that…
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment.
If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective.
If you plant hard work, you will reap success.
If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.
Gosshhhh…I feel really miserable right now. I feel like buying myself a bouquet of orchid, just to put a smile on my face. So, what ever I plant now; it will determine what I will reap later.

Hi Ladybird, please don’t feel so depressed, not good that. Keep your chin up.
Ladybird, let me tell you from someone who has gone thru the grind many times over.
I know how you feel right now, it hurts like crazy, you feel so miserable.
Ladybird, right now, today, this very minute, there are thousands or not millions willing to trade places with you at a drop of a pin.
Just to be like you! A stunningly, gorgeous beauty of a woman. And you have a good job, two beautiful kids.
And most important of all, you have good health.
Ladybird, last Friday, as like everyday, on my way to send my wife to work, we pick up her lady friend working same dept.
A 32 year old, unmarried lady. Very pretty too, and someone I would date.
Ladybird, Sunday she complained of tummy pains.
Monday admitted to hospital for emergency operation.
An hour after operation she began bleeding, they immediately operated on her again, and she was almost gone, they in the nick of time brought her back to life. Another few minutes, we would have lost a friend.
Today my wife phoned me saying she is okay. Thank goodness. I will tell you my tears came out, relieved she pulled thru.
BUT? They had to removed her womb. She thus no chance at all to have babies. AND? She phoned my wife and managed to laugh. And she almost died too.
I tell you this Ladybird because you have what others want right now.
Things will be better. No rain last forever.
Behind evey dark cloud is a silver lining.
When I first started work, a boss told me in my face, “Lee, you will never go far in life”.
6 years later, I had already switched companies, met him at KL airport.
He was walking to MAS to fly to KK.
I was walking towards our company Corporate executive plane, alone. He was travelling with about 80 others, economy class. And our German pilot was carrying my briefcase for me.
Ladybird, at that moment when we greeted each other, I thought of what he told me 6 years ago.
So Ladybird, have hope, smile and the whole world smiles with you.
Your opportunity will come.
I will bet on it.
You keep well, Lady bird…and think of our friend who now still in ICU tonight, she unable to have babies, and she laughed. I cried instead. Lee.
