I was performing my virtual house-keeping in my pc till I accidentally bumped into some pictures (which was taken 2 months ago) with one of my volleyball mate that has been save in my pc for quite some time as I browse through my folders.

Looking at those pictures somehow triggered back old memories with my volley mate-Lorna. Lorna was my colleague and used to report to the IT Manager. Though we only meet each other in the campus occasionally (due to our nature of work) but we would always be together and have fun together during the volleyball match. As a matter of fact, the friendship bond get closer throughout the volleyball matches.

As the semester break is still on-going, we the staffs have the opportunity to use the common hall where we would have our leisure activities after office hours (volleyball, badminton and cardio dance) organized on selected days of the week. The objective was to stay fit and most importantly to have fun.

One day, as we were having our usual volleyball match, I was shocked to find out that Lorna is leaving us for another career opportunity. She was offered a place to serve the community in education line as a trained teacher. We were happy for her and wish her the best in her upcoming. So, to leave a memorable memory with her on her last volleyball match with us, she was splashed with water by us.

Arrgghhh i hate you guyssss..my underwear is wet uuwaaaa.. ;p
Poor her…she was soaked wet but this is the best time to ‘kenakan’ our friend kan mmmuuhahahaha… :)

But wait a minute, we weren’t that bad. We were the best friends that she ever had. Later in the evening, we decided to threat her simple farewell gathering at Ming Café. Oh boyy we were ‘loud’ on that day and I guest those who patron Ming Café would think all of us were bunch of spoilt brats on the loose. ;p

Little that I know after the gathering, all of them decided to show off their singing talent to Lorna so we booked a room at The Rex. I wasn’t prepared for this and singing in the public is something that I rarely do but towards the end of the night, the microphone was always on my hand. ;p

I had so much fun that day and same goes with Lorna. Though she is undergoing a full time training at Maktab Perguruan Miri, she still keeps in touch with us via sms or emails. She sometimes joined our volleyball match in the campus whenever she can make it and there are times where I would miss her presence, her laughter during the volleyball match. She’s a good player, really.

To Lorna, wish all the best in your new career. Friendship forever…XOXO
