Wallabies Candid Shots
Here I am looking confidently, all geared up for what lies ahead. In reality, I was hiding something behind my back.
First match of the day started with ‘Who Want to Be UFO?’. A task where it requires you to move a heavy square plywood from one point to another point. A team must consist of 10 person (5 male & 5 female) and everybody must step inside the square plywood while moving the other square plywood until the finishing line. My team came 3rd place.
The next game was called ‘Hopping Caterpillar’. It requires 2 groups (5 male & 5 female) and each group have to form a row each. The group will have to put their foot in front of their friend and get their friend’s arm to ‘lock’ their foot as they will need to move using their butts from the beginning until the finishing point. Along the way, 2 eggs will be placed and 1 point each will be deducted should your butts landed on the egg. Ironically, my male group broke one of the egg. My team came as 1st runner up.
The 3rd match was known as ‘The Monster Slipper’. A team must consist of 2 group (male and female) and requires them to walk on a wood plank. This requires team work and good co-ordination while dragging the ‘giant slipper’ with you. My team came 2nd place. We would have won that match if I didn’t fall. 🙁
The next match was called as ‘The Water War’ and it requires 12 members in a team. Each team are given 12 balloons filled with water and they are required to throw the water filled balloons at their opponents. However, you can only throw at your opponent from waist down. Those team member are found soaked wet from waist down will be eliminated from the team and those team who had less ‘wet’ will be declare as the winner. My team came 2nd place in this match.
The last match for the day was ‘Rowing the Boat’. Last year, my team won the match and this year, we came last place. Why? I would say no teamwork and no understanding.
While waiting for lunch to be served, I enjoyed myself at the ‘Kids Corner’ and played ‘Twister’ with few kids. The rule of the game is to place your hand and feet on the different color of circles based on the instruction given by someone who controls the twister chart. It’s a fun game.
Despite of the losing most of the matches , it doesn’t stop us from camwhoring to treasure our happy moment together. Looking forward for next year Family Day and I can’t wait to go in action again. I had fun and I think the other were having fun too. 🙂
